SnoWest chronicles two days of pure powdery Wyoming bliss in October feature story

magazine details the remarkable deep powder, stunning scenery and varied terrain of a Brooks Lake Lodge snowmobile trip – as well as the lodge’s delicious dining.
Dubois, Wyoming – October 24, 2019 - A February journey to Brooks Lake Lodge & Spa by SnoWest magazine editor Lane Lindstrom led to an epic two-day snowmobile adventure described as “nearly perfect.” Lindstrom’s publication for snowmobile enthusiasts is known as the authority on how to ride, what to ride and where to ride in the West. As the SnoWest story says of Brooks Lake Lodge “There are many places in the West where there is a perfect mix of the right snow conditions, over the top scenery, varied terrain, good trails and excellent service. But there are fewer places where all those variables work seamlessly to provide the almost perfect snowmobile trip. The riders enjoyed sweeping vistas of Pinnacle Buttes, a ride up to the notorious Proposal Point with its inspiring bird’s-eye lake and lodge overlook, cruising into Sublette Pass for more backcountry riding and views of Sublette Peak and Brooks Mountain and accumulating 32 fresh miles of riding. And that was just day one.
The second day was even better, with a mix of sun and snow and superb deep-powder conditions. The sledders, led by the lodge’s famed snowmobile guide Skinner Bell and accompanied by General Manager Adam Long, headed straight toward Brooks Mountain and ventured farther north to upper Jade Lake, experiencing a variety of terrain and elevation – and at one point stepping off the sleds into chest-high powder. Day two dialed up 30 more miles on the snowmobiles and lots of memories.
