COVID-19 News and Policies

Brooks Lake Lodge & Spa is pleased to announce that we will open for our 99th summer season July 1, 2020. We continue to follow along closely with the current global pandemic. We are constantly evaluating how best to deal with the current health crisis and will update you frequently as to any changes with us. Our first priority regarding decisions about our summer operations will be to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff.

In doing our part to help flatten the curve we have eliminated our operations for the month of June, are constantly reevaluating how best to keep our facilities sanitized, and had our staff arrive on property an entire month early to quarantine in place. To keep our guests and staff safe as we reopen, we have reduced the scale of our operation by eliminating all large groups from our summer lineup. We have decided to allow only a small number of guests on the property at one time to ensure social distancing can be adhered to with ease — and we have created a new position of Sanitation Manager, who is responsible for keeping us up to date and in compliance with all government mandates regarding sanitation. We are closely following guidance from the Center for Disease Control, Food and Drug Administration, and the American Hotel and Lodging Association.

Our amended cancellation policy is:

At time of booking, 25% non-refundable deposit is due. If you travel plans need to be changed, we will allow you to alter your vacations within the following two seasons of operations. Meaning the balance can be applied to following winter or next summer, after that Brooks Lake Lodge will retain the deposit. Additionally, If your vacation with Brooks Lake Lodge and Spa cannot happen due to travel bans/restrictions in your home or ours, we will refund you in full.

For questions or concerns around our cancellation or other Covid-19-related policies, please contact our new General Manager, Matthew Tousignant. He will evaluate each set of circumstances individually.
