Little ones who are 6 and under can still enjoy arena rides, pony rides, and horse rides on 25 acres, but must remain within the lodge gates. Arena riding is also an options for older guests who wish to trot.

The rivers and lakes surrounding Brooks Lake Lodge and Spa are teeming with trout. Enjoy a half day fishing trip hiking through beautiful wilderness to a cool, clear mountain stream. Or experience an all day fishing adventure and travel by horseback to a beautiful mountain lake and spend tranquil hours fishing for a bite. Whether you are a novice or a pro, our guides will make sure this is the most enjoyable fishing vacation you've ever experienced.

Fly and spin rods are provided as a courtesy to our guests. Fishing licenses are available for purchase at the Lodge as are a variety of flies.

Here, at Brooks Lake Lodge and Spa you can climb the Pinnacles or hike to the top of Brooks Mountain and stand atop the Continental Divide. Or, for a less daunting physical challenge, one of our guides (accompanied by an enthusiastic lodge dog) will take you for a hike along  our nature trails—traversing rolling slopes, spotting birds and beasts and foliage that call these hills home.

All experience levels welcome. Guides are provided as a courtesy to our guests.

Every day our children’s coordinator puts together age appropriate outdoor adventures like nature walks, model boat races, or arts and crafts. It’s fun; it’s educational; and it gives Mom and Dad a chance to just be together.

Children of all ages love staying at Brooks Lake Lodge. The horses, campfires, and after dinner movies are a particular thrill. It’s all part of the Brooks Lake family experience.
