While snowmobiling is often a guest favorite, the lodge offers a variety of cold-weather activities, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing with the necessary equipment supplied and guides available. Guests also can enjoy a Rocky Mountain Safari through the surrounding countryside with a guide explaining the unique Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem habitat and pointing out such local wildlife as moose and bighorn sheep. And because relaxation is just as important as adventuring, the lodge has guests covered with the on-site Rocky Mountain Spa offering a variety of massages, facials and scrubs. For just kicking back, the spa’s enormous 11-by-17-foot hot tub overlooking the Pinnacle Mountains is the perfect spot for an après-snow-day soak.
All this activity works up an appetite, but getting a good meal is never a concern at Brooks Lake Lodge, where the talented culinary team offers guests three thoughtfully prepared Western gourmet meals each day, all included in an overnight stay. As for accommodations, guests at the lodge can kick back in their private cabin or in the lodge’s Sheep Suite, each space equipped with a wood burning stove, comfy lodgepole pine beds and views of the remarkable surroundings. Brooks Lake Lodge will accommodate a maximum of 18 overnight guests at a time this winter, as the safety of staff and guests is the lodge number one priority.
Overnight winter rates at Brooks Lake Lodge start at $450 per person per night and include all meals and all activities and guides (with the exception of separate fees associated with snowmobile rentals). The lodge opens on December 20, 2020, and remains open for the winter season through March 15, 2021. While Christmas and New Year’s holidays are already booked for the 2020/21 season, it’s not too soon to grab a spot for next year’s winter holidays.
