This remoteness allows guests to begin to disconnect from their everyday life and reconnect with nature before they even check in, as they experience the five-mile journey through snowcapped trees and stunning landscapes en route to Brooks Lake Lodge.
Arriving at the Lodge, guests can look forward to a variety of winter activities, all included in the price of their stay, from the hushed pleasures of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing to the thrills exploring the 2 million acres of snowy terrain via snowmobile. All gear and equipment as well as guides are available to guests for all activities. Guests also can enjoy a Rocky Mountain Safari through the surrounding countryside with an expert guide pointing out the abundant local wildlife.
Brooks Lake Lodge has relaxation as well as action covered with an onsite Rocky Mountain spa offering a variety of massages, facials and scrubs. And the spa’s enormous 11-by-17-foot hot tub overlooking the Pinnacle Mountains is perfect for an après soak following a day of snowy fun.
Lodge rooms and private cabins provide terrific views, plush robes and goose down bedding to sink into for a peaceful night of rest. All stays at Brooks Lake Lodge include meals, beginning with a hearty Western-style breakfast followed by tempting lunch options with soups, salads, sandwiches and Kobe beef burgers. Dinner features a spectacular selection of chef-prepared premium seafood, beef, game, poultry and vegetarian entrees. And at 4:30 p.m. daily, guests can cozy up to a giant roaring stone fireplace for the traditional Governor’s Tea Time with a variety of savory snacks and scrumptious pastries.
